In early 2000 Donna worked for a local hospital in the Labor & Delivery department. She was working 12 hour shifts, wearing facemasks that long really took a toll on her and her co-worker's ears. If only there was a way to hold the earloops of the masks somewhere other than her ears? Donna came home & talked to Katie about the challenges. Thus was born KDS Knots. A way to provide fellow nurses with a stylish way to relieve their ears and yet stay trendy?
